How to speak French: conversation is more than “just talking”
Spontaneous speech grows from prepared situations repeated with useful variations—not from chasing perfection.
If you mentally check every verb, you lose the thread. A more productive sequence is to learn a few flexible phrases, use them in a manageable situation, then revisit the subject with one change. Expressions such as à mon avis, cela dépend and pourriez-vous préciser ? gradually become automatic tools.
Correction that supports fluency
Every error does not need an immediate interruption. During a fluent phase, the teacher can note patterns and discuss the two or three most important ones afterwards. Pronunciation issues that prevent understanding may need instant correction. This balance protects confidence while improving accuracy.
One-minute exercise: record yourself describing your day. Listen once, then repeat the same message more clearly.
